For the first time since the release of the full version, the Internet Channel is getting an update. The update will include spiffy new buttons, compatibility with the Wii Speak microphone, access to Wii Mail while browsing, and and tabbed browsing with up to six tabs.
One feature that’s missing from the list is an updated version of Flash. The current version used with the Internet Channel is severely outdated, so let’s cross our fingers.
The upgrade will be free for current Internet Channel owners, or 500 points for non-owners, which is exactly how much the current Internet Channel costs, so that basically means… it’s getting upgraded. Redundancy for the win.
Phahtrox: It's actually the second update for the rarely used channel of mine. I used to use it all the time, until I found the computer to be much more faster. But, alas it's a long time coming, and maybe it will come with better flash. So, yea.
